1. INTRODUCTION 

Mentor Match is an education technology app/website that helps middle school students, high school students, and aspirants for competitive exams (“Learner”) connect with expert mentors and tutors (“Mentor”) through a one-on-one video (“Session”) calls for regular tutoring in a specific domain or subject. Mentor Match bridges the gap by connecting learners with mentors and helps students complete chapter revisions, solve doubts, and their syllabus, provides study tricks and tips, gives ten minute concept explanations, and conducts live classes. (“Services”). 

2. TERRITORIAL RESTRICTION 

Our Website and App are only available for use and download outside the European Union. Our Platform, Website, and App are not available for use or download by residents of, visitors to, or your employees who reside in the European Union (collectively a “European”). If you are a European, please do not download, register, and/or use our Website or App. You must comply with this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use and Terms of Service, as applicable.

3. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT? 

When you register to use our Website or App, we collect personal information (also referred to as personally identifiable information or “PII”) which may include your name, address, online contact information such as your email address, screen name, driver’s license or other identification documents, education related information (including but not limited to your ongoing academic records and completed degrees, diplomas and courses) or username, phone number, and other personal information. The information so collected will be stored on our servers. You are able to change your personal information via email by contacting us at [email protected] or through your profile or account settings on our Website or App. 

a) Geolocation. We may collect information that does not personally identify you such as your geolocation. 

b) Financial Information. We currently do not collect and store credit cards or bank information, as we use a third-party payment processor, namely Razor Pay. However, we will update this Privacy Policy when in the event we start storing such information. 

c) Session Records: We will collect recordings of all Sessions for verification, quality control purposes, and internal research and development purposes. ALL MENTORS AND LEARNERS EXPLICITLY AGREE TO THE COLLECTION, STORAGE AND PROCESSING OF THEIR SESSION RECORDINGS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS PRIVACY POLICY. All Session records will be stored in a secure manner in accordance with good industry standards on cloud servers. We are committed to keeping all such video data/information safe at all times and ensuring that such data/information is only transacted over secure channels, and providing the highest possible degree of care available under the technology presently in use. 

4. HOW DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION? 

We collect personal information from you in the following ways: 

a) At registration on our Website or App; 

b) In an email, text, or other electronic message between you and our Website or App; c) Through mobile and desktop applications your downloads from our Website or App, which provides dedicated non-browser-based interaction between you and our Website or App; d) From you placing an order, which includes details of transactions you carry out on our Website or App;

Other technologies, including data we store on your web browser or device, identifiers associated with your device, and other software, are used for similar purposes. We use Cookies on our Website to compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interactions in order to offer better site experiences and tools in the future. Our Website is reasonably scanned to meet SSL certification. Our Website receives regular security scans, malware scans, and penetration tests. We require usernames and passwords for our employees who can access your personal information that we store and/or process on our App and servers. In addition, we actively prevent third parties from getting access to your personal information that we store and/or process on our Apps and servers. We accept payment by credit

card through a third-party credit card processor on our behalf. We will implement reasonable security measures every time you (a) place an order, (b) enter, submit, or access your information, (c) register on our webpage or (d) access our App.

a) Security Measures. We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers behind firewalls in an encrypted form. The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Website or App, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. There are times, when we may share Personal Information that you have shared with us, may be shared by Mentor Match with others to enable us to provide you with Services, including contractors, service providers, and third parties (“Partners”). a) We disclose personal information to contractors, services providers and other third parties. We may continue to retain your information you have requested us to remove for certain circumstances, such as to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems and enforce our Terms of Use and Terms of Service for a period as may be permitted by law. 

10. GOOGLE ADSENSE , GOOGLE ANALYTICS AND META ANALYTICS 

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses Cookies to serve advertisements to Users on our Website and App. Google uses first-party Cookies, such as Google Analytics Cookies, to compile data regarding User interactions with ad impressions and other ad service functions as they relate to our App.

We currently have not implemented advertising features on our Website and App. We will let you know if we update you in the future.
