Which curricula do your tutors cover?
Mentor Match tutors specialise in IB, IGCSE, A Level and American curriculum tutoring across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar international schools.
How long are online tutoring sessions?
Every 1:1 session is 55 minutes. Most students attend 2 to 3 sessions per week per subject.
How do you select your tutors?
Fewer than 1 in 10 applicants join Mentor Match. Every tutor passes subject assessments, a live teaching simulation and a two week training programme before teaching any student.
What if my child is unhappy with their tutor?
We rematch your child at no cost. If your child remains unsatisfied after three tutors, we refund all remaining unused sessions in full.
How much does it cost?
Sessions are priced between AED 70 and AED 100 per hour.
Will my child have the same tutor every session?
Yes. Every student is assigned one dedicated tutor for all their sessions.
How often should my child attend tutoring sessions?
Most students attend 2–3 weekly tutoring sessions in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or Sharjah. The schedule can be tailored to your child’s goals, learning style, and subjects.
Is there a long-term commitment required for tutoring?
No. Our flexible tutoring plans in the UAE let you book home or online classes anytime, with no fixed contracts or long-term commitments.
Do you offer online tutoring in addition to home tuition?
Yes! We offer online tutoring across the UAE, covering all subjects, giving the same personalized attention as in-person home tuition sessions.
Can I get a private tutor at home?
Sessions are conducted online via our interactive platform, allowing flexible scheduling and convenient learning from home.
How are tutors selected?
Our tutors undergo qualification checks, interviews, and teaching assessments to ensure high-quality instruction across all major curricula.
Can I choose my child’s tutor?
Yes. If the matched tutor isn’t the right fit, we’ll help you select another tutor better suited to your child’s learning needs.
What is the duration of each tutoring session?
Each one-on-one tutoring session lasts 60 minutes, whether taken online or at home.
Can tutoring sessions be canceled or rescheduled?
Yes. You can easily reschedule or cancel sessions with advance notice through our flexible booking system.
What if my child doesn’t connect with the tutor?
If your child doesn’t connect with a tutor, we’ll review feedback and assign a new tutor who better matches their learning style.
How do I track my child’s progress?
You’ll receive monthly progress reports and optional parent-teacher meetings to discuss academic improvements and goals.
Am I eligible for a full refund?
Yes. If you’re unsatisfied after the first three sessions, we’ll refund the remaining fees, no questions asked.
